I collect and carry many different knives. I’ve tried other very popular clips for the Spyderco knives I carry. The MXG three hole stubby titanium clips are the only ones I buy anymore. The hole is larger enough to get the screws and torx head tool in straight up and down unlike other very popular clips which easily strip due to smaller holes forcing a bad angle to work the screws in. MXG uses quality titanium. The thickness is perfect. The wide paddle end, the shorter length and the super deep pocket carry of the stubby clip is perfect for me and are super easy on pants & shorts pockets! I flame a little color on the raw ones which makes them a little darker with hints of blue purple and bronze. They come out great! The two hole clips from any maker really aren’t great, I bought one for a Manix 2 and it wobbles. Spyderco designs knives with 3 hole clips and in my experience they need 3 screw. The Manix 2xl salt I just got looks amazing with the titanium punisher 3 hole in black, I freaking love it and it’s secure. My current edc’s are Military 2’s (Salt & BB 15v) I’ve been using MXG clips for about a year or two for Spyderco edc’s I just received another order of 6 clips yesterday. Shipping has been good, the prices are competitive, and their clips are the best I’ve found. Don’t change a thing on your stubbys MXG they are dialed in! Thanks!

I purchased this clip for my paramilitary 2 with aftermarket titanium scales, and it was a perfect fit. it looks great and doesn’t create a hotspot in my hand when I grip the knife.
