The milled clip is nicely shaped and fits my Chris Reeve Inkosi’s clip recess perfectly. My only complaint would be the clip’s finish. Chris Reeve knives have either a sandblasted or glass blasted titanium handle finish (mine is glass blasted). The MXG clip has a tumbled finish which stands out as not matching the Inkosi’s handle very well. It would be nice if MXG could offer these clips with a blasted finish.
OE CRK clip is one of the best production clips on the market, so changing it is usually a cosmetic or aesthetic choice.
I got the black powder coated clip for my large Inkosi w/ black micarta. It matches perfectly and gives the knife a more personalized look. I'll definitely consider another when I get another CRK.
